We pride ourselves in having one of the largest life insurance distribution networks in Malta. Our bancassurance operation, in collaboration with BoV, is a very important source of business. Forging long-term relationships with all our intermediaries is central to our distribution strategy.
The vast product portfolio that we offer, ranges from pure life insurance protection plans to savings plans, unit-linked investment plans as well as retirement plans. Through this product base, we are able to address four principal demands of life assurance - loan protection, life protection, long-term savings and retirement planning.
Having established a core range of products, we are committed to give our customers and intermediaries products and services which rank amongst the highest in the market in terms of quality, performance and price.
Looking ahead, we are committed to continuing to increase our financial strength and have increased our Authorised Share Capital from Lm10million to Lm15million in 2006. We are also actively preparing for the pensions reform. We are confident that, when the new pension legislation is enacted, we will meet the demand for both individual pension schemes and occupational group pension schemes.
