The Malta Independent
A Maltese online dictionary was launched yesterday, focusing mainly on terminology used in the financial services.
It represents the personal effort of Carlo Farrugia, who said it incorporated 9,000 literary terms used in the sector, and their equivalent in English and Italian.
The dictionary can be accessed for free at www.maltaonlinedictionary.com.
Investments Minister Austin Gatt, welcoming the initiative, said that as a member of UNESCO Malta was bound to take part in promoting Malta online.
